Filipinos Are Rich

by Dr. Cris Enriquez

Filipinos Are Rich is a book to proclaim the truth that Filipinos are creative with awesome work ethic, successful, happy, and destined for greatness. Filipinos have been maligned and have been called “masa,” “bakya crowd,” third world or poor but they are none of these because in reality they really are rich but most are oblivious and have succumbed to this derogatory belief and unaware that they are sitting on acres of diamonds and countless virgin opportunities, the knowledge of which, and corresponding action, could catapult them to unprecedented success, joy and prosperity.

Many years ago, even before Magellan’s so-called “discovery,” Filipinos were branded by our neighboring nations as good. An average Filipino was considered very honest, dependable, trustworthy and guided by an amazing word of honor. Even our leaders had impeccable character and morality that really cared for the country and the people. Corruption was unheard of and crab mentality hadn’t been invented yet.

In this book, you will develop a yearning for our “Lupang Hinirang.” You will learn the formula that Mr. Henry Sy, Sr. used, in his own words, to become a billionaire. You will learn why George Bernard Shaw called poverty a “sin” and why the execution of Jose Rizal was a victory for all of us.

This book talks of the main thing to change to access your prosperity. It talks about how to attract success instead of fulfilling it. It explains that people have been assigned to you to make you prosperous if you will just open yourself up to them.

Filipinos Are Rich honors our present day heroes and heroines, the OFWs. Their relentless and unwavering desire to provide for their loved ones even in the face of danger and difficulties is a testament to the rekindling of their dreams to accomplish and be the success they really are. They are now on the verge of the long-awaited prosperity and rife to reap what they have sown, thus, reverse diaspora will soon follow.

The very first OFWs were the Chinese when they came to our country to work as maids and helpers, just like some of our precious ones today. The next group of people who will become OFWs are the Americans and they will come to the Philippines to find work, and we will bless them, just as they have also done to so many of us.

Without any disrespect to the most honored and respected late President Manuel Quezon, I predict that soon and very soon, the Philippines will become the epitome of success and prosperity and a paragon of altruism and “will be run like heaven by the Filipinos.”
